Overview
Maarten Vandenryt is the Chief Technology Officer of InsightData, based in Brussels. He founded the company and served as its CEO from February 2018 until September 2024, when he took up his current role.
Before founding InsightData he worked at Halyard Health, first as Senior EMEA Sales Analyst from November 2014 and then as Market & Sales Intelligence Manager from October 2016 to January 2018. He had joined Kimberly-Clark Healthcare as Senior EMEA Sales Analyst in June 2014.
Vandenryt spent more than a decade at 3M, which he joined in April 2003 as a Junior Business Systems Developer, moving on to Business Systems Developer, Senior Business Systems Developer, lead business systems analyst, sales representative for enterprise networks and, in 2014, Business Intelligence Analyst. He began his career at Ferranti Computer Systems as a database data administrator in December 2002.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Hogeschool PXL, obtained in 2002, and studied French to level 2 at the Centrum voor Levende Talen. His stated areas of expertise are business intelligence, data analytics, reporting and analysis, software development and project management.
