Overview
Marte Greefs is a co-founder of Go Ocean, where she has been Sea-EO since February 2025. She is based in Brussels, and states her expertise as social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
Greefs co-founded Go Ocean in January 2024 and served as its operations manager until February 2025. In parallel she worked at Go Forest, which she joined as a junior project manager in February 2022 before becoming operations manager in August 2022, a role she held until June 2025. Earlier she interned at Responsum in 2021, took part in Academics for Development as a project student during the 2020 to 2021 academic year, and interned in internationalisation at POM Limburg (Provinciale Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Limburg) in 2020.
She studied Chinese Studies at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2018 and a master's degree in 2020, with a year as a visiting student in Chinese language at Peking University in between. She followed this with a master's degree in International Business Economics and Management at KU Leuven, completed in 2022.

A handful of spots are left for businesses who want their name on real, tangible impact. 🌱 Preparation deadlines are also closing on two other limited projects: seagrass restoration in Corsica and mangrove restoration in Ecuador. Our maximum capacity is not yet reached, so every new supporting partner counts. 🗺️
