Overview
Martin Polet is a co-founder of FLYX Cloud, where he has served as Chief Infrastructure and Information Officer since January 2018. He is based in Brussels. Since June 2016 he has also been a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of BeeBonds.
He co-founded Levelapp in February 2011, working there as a cloud native architect until December 2022, and co-founded Infos Radars, which he was part of from March 2013 to November 2022. Earlier, he was a Java/J2EE developer at BeTV SA from July 2009 to April 2014, and held the same role at Flexcipio, part of the All4IT Group, from July 2007 to June 2009. He trained as a Java developer at Unisys in 2007, and worked as a web developer at Daniel Fain & Co in 2006 and at Sopem S.A. in 2004.
Polet studied economics and communications at the Université catholique de Louvain from 2000 to 2002 and completed a bachelor's degree in business computing at the Institut Paul Lambin in 2007. He took the Data Protection Officer (GDPR) course at the Data Protection Institute in 2017.
