Overview
Nicolas Detournay is the owner of ELAUSYS, a role he has held since September 2016, and is based in Héron. Since 2011 he has also been the owner of KNX Automation.
From September 2012 to November 2024 he worked at Aseptic Technologies, first as Automation & Validation Leader and then, from December 2014, as Head of Automation. Before that he was a project engineer at Matis Benelux from December 2008 to September 2012, and an automation engineer at Keppel Seghers from 2006 to 2008. He began his career as an electrical engineer at Sepleex Industrie between July 2003 and April 2005.
Detournay completed a master's degree in electrical engineering at ISIMS - Institut Supérieur Industriel de Mons from 1999 to 2003, and obtained an Automation Integrator Certificate from George Brown Polytechnic in 2005 and 2006.

- Ajax alarm panels already know when someone's home. Most KNX installations don't. For years the only bridge between an Ajax panel and a KNX installation was a couple of dry contacts. Four anonymous on/off bits. No zones, no arming state, one direction. We built the AJAX-KNX gateway to close that gap properly.
