Overview
Pieterjan Van Dam is a co-founder of Monitr - reporting & cash flow forecasting, which he started in 2020, and is based in Antwerp. Since June 2019 he has also worked as a freelance CFO under pieterjanvandam.com.
He was CFO of Poppy Mobility from December 2017 to September 2019, and VP Finance and Administration at Inventive Designers between January 2017 and January 2018. He began his career at Deloitte, joining as a senior auditor in September 2011 and moving in June 2014 to a senior consultant role in CFO services, financial modelling, which he held until December 2016.
Van Dam studied commercial sciences at Lessius University College (K.U.Leuven), completing a bachelor's degree in 2010 and a Master of Science in Accountancy and Taxation in 2011. In 2013 he sat the entry exams for the internship of the IBR - IRE, the Belgian Institute for certified public accountants. Smart Validation gaat een stap verder: fouten in je rapportagestructuur worden automatisch gedetecteerd — met een concrete fix.
