Overview
Romain Pattyn is a co-founder of Codika, a role he has held since February 2025. He is based in Brussels, and states expertise in artificial intelligence, mobile application development, product management and innovation.
Before Codika, he founded Flutter CLI, where he was chief executive from September 2024 to January 2025, and co-founded DailyClassic, serving as its chief executive between June and August 2024. From September 2023 to May 2024 he was chief technology officer and tech lead at IFREQ, and from September 2021 to September 2023 he was co-founder and chief technology officer of Softwhale. Earlier, at the Université catholique de Louvain, he worked as a full stack engineer in the first half of 2019 and as a teaching assistant from September 2019 to January 2020.
He studied computational and applied mathematics at the Université catholique de Louvain, graduating with a bachelor of engineering in 2018, and went on to a master's degree in artificial intelligence at the École polytechnique de Louvain, completed in 2020. He also took a master's degree in artificial intelligence at McGill University between September 2019 and January 2020.
