Overview
Rosanna Kurrer is a co-founder and managing director of CyberWayFinder, based in Brussels, a role she has held since August 2016. Her stated areas of expertise are cybersecurity, information security, information security management and leadership. She has spoken at the COSAC Security Conference since October 2018 and at the RSA Conference since February 2020, and has worked as a design thinking consultant with Adea Design Thinkers since June 2016.
From November 2013 to March 2017 she was digital literacy lead at the Digital Leadership Institute. Earlier in her career she lectured at the Fachsprachenzentrum (Applied Linguistics and Special Languages) at Leibniz University of Hannover from 2002 to 2004, and at the College of Architecture of the University of the Philippines from 1996 to 1998. She began her career as a CAD designer at R. Villarosa Architects from 1991 to 1993.
Kurrer holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Engineering in Architectural Engineering from Kyoto University. Between 2015 and 2016 she completed the MIT Master Trainer in Educational Mobile Computing programme in computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
