- Europa is nog niet uitgeteld in de AI-race tussen de VS en China, zei Sebastien Couet van de Belgische start-up VerticalCompute vorige week in De Standaard. Hij wil met een technologische doorbraak in chipontwerp de hele AI-architectuur hertekenen. Door chips ‘in de hoogte’ te bouwen voegt hij aan geheugenchips een derde dimensie toe om zo data en rekenkracht dichter bij elkaar te brengen en de capaciteit van chips wek honderdmaal te vergroten.
