Overview
Sebastien Parent is Managing Director of Doappy, a role he has held since October 2022. He founded the company in November 2018 and also serves as an administrateur of it, as well as of Sybhel Consult srl since July 2022.
Before that he spent sixteen years at the Conseil du Contentieux des Etrangers, joining as an attaché juriste in September 2006 and sitting as an administrative judge from September 2010 until June 2022. He began his career as a trainee lawyer at the Barreau de Bruxelles between January 2004 and June 2005.
He studied law at the Université catholique de Louvain, graduating in 2003, and later obtained a master's degree in anthropology there in 2009, a university certificate in contemporary Islam in 2016 and a master's in theology, exegesis and ethics in 2019. At the Université libre de Bruxelles he completed training in judicial expertise law in 2023 and a university certificate in criminalistics in 2024. In October 2025 he began doctoral research in anthropology at the Université catholique de Louvain.
