Overview
Sylvain co-founded Vertical Compute as a spin-off from imec, the Leuven-based world-leading microelectronics research center. The company is developing specialized compute solutions aimed at AI workloads, operating at the intersection of chip design and deep learning infrastructure.
Vertical Compute raised EUR 57 million at seed stage, one of the largest seed rounds in Belgian history and a reflection of global investor appetite for AI infrastructure plays. The imec heritage gives the company strong technical credibility and access to Belgium's deep semiconductor research base.
