- The Dropsolid AI Enterprise podcast is about to start in 30 mins. Today's topic: Drupal Enterprise AI Summit on the 28 Sep in Rotterdam. 👉 Get access through the calendar here: https://bit.ly/4hatOqt
- Robert Smith was asked if The Cure were as excited as everyone else about being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. His answer: "By the sounds of it, no." I think most European digital leaders would give me the same answer if I asked whether they were excited about the Enterprise AI Summit on September 28th aboard the SS Rotterdam. And they'd be wrong. This is the only event in Europe where digital leaders -- CDOs, CIOs, CMOs, Heads of Digital, Marketing and Technology -- can see actual AI deployments in production. Not
- Adobe just appointed a new CEO. He previously led their Digital Experience division, which he renamed to Customer Experience Orchestration, historically one of Adobe's least profitable business lines. That's not a coincidence. That's a signal about where the next decade of enterprise software value will be created. Here's my read on what it means. AI doesn't make digital experiences less relevant. It makes them more important and significantly harder to get right. Because modern digital experiences now require more than a
- It's not an industry secret: 2 out of 3 enterprise AI initiatives don't move the needle on EBITDA. Every company is different, but patterns emerge. When I'm in a conversation about AI value, whether that's efficiency or growth, the companies that can't see results have one thing in common: they're already working with an LLM provider and believe they're getting value. They're not. They're getting generic AI. And generic AI applied to generic use cases will never move your numbers. The difference between AI that transforms your

And can continue evolving into the next one? Yesterday, Dominique De Cooman shared that Dropsolid is now listed among Drupal’s top-tier Certified Partners. One of two in Europe. It prompted me to explain why Drupal matters to us: not just for what organisations need today, but for the AI capabilities they will need tomorrow. In September 2017, the Barbican
- I've spent 20+ years building digital platforms and AI systems — for organisations like the Barbican, Finastra, Keller, and some of the world's largest pharma and life sciences companies. What that journey has taught me is hard to find in most articles, reports, or vendor decks. So I started writing it down. If you're the person responsible for digital and AI in your organisation — a Head of Digital, a CIO, a Marketing Director, or a founder doing all three — this is what I share here: → What AI adoption actually looks like in
- It's events such as the AI Governance Forum, we co-organised with Beltug in Ghent, that helps business leaders cut through the hype and get into the specifics. Great venue, great line up, great conversations. Sorry you missed it? Head to the Enterprise Drupal AI Summit on Rotterdam this September l! Reach out to me for more info if you are a digital leader and using Drupal.
- A hard truth I share with almost every founder I meet: most startups that raise a seed round never make it to Series A. Conversion has fallen from ~50% to roughly a third. It's not a product-market fit problem, it's an awareness problem, a market traction problem, a sales problem. The result of growing through personal contacts instead of building a real sales funnel. Your web platform should be doing that work. Not sitting there as a "website" but acting as your company's steward: informing, selling, capturing leads, deepening
