Overview
Tom Verstappen is the founder of aerolytics and is based in Hasselt. Since May 2025 he has also been podcast coordinator and host at Het Belang van Limburg.
He founded wshwshSound in January 2020, a role recorded as running to January 2026, and was an associate at George Foulgham Soundscapes from March 2021 to May 2025. At Thomas More he lectured from September 2020 to August 2025, and at Thomas More Research he led research projects from October 2020 to May 2025.
Verstappen joined Molinare in March 2017 on work experience, became second audio assistant in May 2017 and was assistant re-recording mixer to George Foulgham from August 2018 to October 2020. In late 2015 he worked on communications and artistic projects at the School of Arts Ghent, Conservatory jazz pop music production, at HOGENT, and in 2014 he interned in post production at Sonhouse, a sound production agency.
He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Production from HOGENT and a bachelor's degree in Applied Audiovisual Communications Techniques from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, and took a certificate of participation at Vlerick Business School in 2023.
