Overview
Toon Craenen is the founder of datacubes and is based in Hasselt. He started the company in January 2020 and continues to run it, alongside Zabit, which he founded in June 2018, and Greenroot, which he co-founded in June 2024.
Earlier, Craenen founded zaboe! - internet marketing in January 2006 and led it until March 2017, after which he served as its managing director until May 2018. Between January 2005 and December 2007 he worked as a freelance HTML, CSS, JS and PHP developer on assignments for various companies.
He studied Communicatie & Multimedia Design at the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg from 2005 to 2008, having completed Human Sciences at Lyceum Hasselt between 1998 and 2005.
