Overview
Valerie Stoop is a co-founder of Kid, which she founded in February 2024. Before that she spent nearly five years at Trixie, joining as a customer service representative in May 2019, moving to internal sales in June 2020 and then working as account manager ROW from November 2020 until March 2024.
Earlier in her career she was category manager at Maxi Zoo Belgium from March 2018 to February 2019, and product manager for domestic appliances at Miele from October 2015 to February 2018, covering freestanding appliances and then built-in appliances. She worked as a brand builder at Pro-Duo between April 2014 and August 2015, and spent three years with Poltrona Frau Group and Cassina, first as marketing and sales assistant for the Benelux from February 2011 and from July 2013 as Cassina trade marketing operations manager for west Europe.
Stoop studied international relations and affairs and then international business at EHSAL, with a bachelor year in international business at Sapienza Università di Roma, and completed a master's in luxury management at Polimoda Fashion Design and Marketing School in 2019.

- When Murphy’s Law decides to join your product launch… 😅 The last few weeks have been a ride. We travelled to China to see the very first Kidô production come to life. Years of development finally turning into real products. An incredible feeling. And then… Murphy arrived. Last-minute production issue → pause everything. Solve it. Test again.
