Victor Mortreu

Overview

Victor Mortreu is the co-founder and chief executive of Just Russel, a company he has led since January 2020. He is based in Belgium.

From August 2019 to January 2021 he worked at Vision Healthcare NV in junior business development and M&A, overlapping with the first year of Just Russel. Earlier, he was a CEMS business project consultant at R3 in the first months of 2019, took part in the Lean Launchpad NUS Run 4 programme at NUS Enterprise in late 2018, and held a junior M&A and business development internship at Damier Group in 2018.

He studied business engineering at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2017, and then took a Master of Science in Business Engineering at the Louvain School of Management alongside a CEMS Master in International Management, both finishing in 2019. As part of the CEMS programme he spent exchange terms at the National University of Singapore in 2018 and at the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2019. He attended secondary school at Sint-Barbaracollege.
