Yannick Gilis is the founder and CEO of pepps, a company he started in January 2021. He is based in Namur.
Between January 2020 and February 2023 he was head of digital projects at John Cockerill. He spent the preceding period at Transurb, which he joined in July 2004 as technical projects manager, becoming business unit manager and head of projects in January 2008, general manager and head of projects in May 2014, and CEO from December 2019 until December 2022.
Gilis studied electrical and electronics engineering at Haute Ecole Rennequin Sualem, taking a bachelor's degree in 2002 and a master's as an electronics engineer in 2004. He went on to complete a post-university master's in business administration and management at IAG-Louvain School of Management between 2007 and 2009.
