Fraud prevention has a simple purpose, but it is hard to get right: stopping the wrong transaction ✋🏻 without disturbing the right customer. Imagine a customer logs in from a new device, changes a password, adds a token and then makes several low-value transactions within a few minutes. Each event may have a reasonable explanation on its own. But together, they create a very different risk picture. This is why behavioural analytics is becoming such an important layer in fraud prevention. At Solanteq, we have strengthened our Fraud Prevention https://lnkd.in/dTK8DhCH capabilities with advanced behavioural analytics models to help financial institutions detect suspicious activity earlier and respond faster. Rules work well when the scenario is clear: a threshold, a prohibited country, a known suspicious sequence. Behavioural analytics comes in when the situation is less obvious — when timing, context and customer behaviour matter just as much as the transaction itself. We explored this topic in more detail in our latest blog article: https://lnkd.in/d2znxq9d #SOLARPlatform #FraudPrevention #FraudMonitoring #RiskManagement
