Payment testing is a lot like theatre đźŽ
You have a script: the transaction scenario.
You have actors: the terminal, processor, payment scheme and external systems.
And then, just before the rehearsal, one of the actors is unavailable.
In theatre, you bring in an understudy. In payment testing, you emulate the missing system.
With SOLAR Testing Toolkit https://lnkd.in/d3Dm2aub, teams can recreate the behaviour of payment schemes, ATMs, POS terminals, e-commerce channels and external interfaces — including approvals, declines, timeouts and unexpected responses.
The goal is not to make every rehearsal perfect.
It is to find out what happens when someone misses a cue — before the audience arrives.
