Yesterday we brought our entire tech team back to Belgium for one day.
Not for a training. Not for a conference. For a hackathon 🎯
3 teams. Real Jira tickets and projects. Real client problems. Deployed to production by end of day.
The rule was simple: no one writes code alone anymore. Dust reads the ticket, drafts the spec, reviews the output. Cursor writes the code, runs the tests and deploys the solution. The developer steers, approves, and validates.
From code writer to system architect. That is the shift.
Andrej Karpathy said it: "You are not writing code 99% of the time — you are orchestrating agents who do." We decided to stop talking about it and actually build that way. Together. In one room. On real problems.
What came out of it was more than features shipped. It was a team that now works the same way. Same workflow. Same standards. Same brain.
If we ship 10x faster, billing by the hour stops making sense. So we are moving to value-based delivery. Not because it sounds good in a pitch — because it is the only model that is honest when AI does half the work.
