Someone asks: "What is your favorite CRM?"
The answers say everything about where we are heading:
"I built my own with Lovable."
"We coded our own solution on top of an open-source database."
"Custom code for ops, only invoicing on a standard tool."
Nobody answered Salesforce. Nobody answered HubSpot.
Two years ago, these founders would have spent weeks comparing SaaS products. Today they spend an afternoon building exactly what they need.
The barrier between "I need a tool" and "I will make it" has disappeared.
And this is just the beginning. When building becomes faster than buying, evaluating, onboarding, and configuring — the entire SaaS model gets questioned.
