Retail displays have a tough job.
They need to inspire customers, guide the shopping journey, work within tight retail footprints and survive the realities of a live retail environment.
That was exactly the challenge behind this recent project with Graham & Brown for the Next homeware department.
Following an initial concept that didn’t fully meet Next’s H&S requirements, our team worked closely with the client to refine and technically develop a freestanding paint and wallpaper display that balanced compliance, practicality and premium presentation.
The final solution combined:
• Lifestyle-led graphics to help customers visualise the collections
• Real painted colour chips for a tactile shopping experience
• Integrated wallpaper book storage
• A compact 610mm footprint suitable for busy retail environments
• Interchangeable graphics and panels for future range updates
The display now supports both the iconic Laura Ashley collections and premium Next ranges in-store, whilst giving the client a flexible and scalable solution for future campaigns.
Projects like this are where technical design expertise really matters. Good retail display design is never just about aesthetics, it has to work commercially, operationally and practically too.
