How can COโ capture and low-carbon construction materials be demonstrated in practice?
The Carbon4Minerals project will operate 8 industrial pilots across the process value chain โ from COโ capture to low-carbon construction products.
The pilots cover three key application areas:
๐จ COโ capture using liquid and solid amines
โป๏ธ COโ-negative clinker and SCMs using steel slags and recycled concrete fines
๐งฑ Carbonation curing for bricks, pavers, tiles, faรงade panels and fibre cement products
Together, they connect COโ capture, cement innovation, and construction product development into a single integrated pathway.
