Ever driven past a metallurgical plant and noticed that persistent white plume above the stack? That's not steam.
In roasting and acid plants, it's usually sub-micron sulfuric acid mist: very small droplets that traditional wire mesh demisters simply can't catch.
The frustrating part: it's not a process failure, it's a filtration gap. Mesh pads are built for coarse droplets, not the fine aerosol fraction that drives visible opacity and regulatory headaches.
Our BlueFil® polymeric demisting system targets exactly that gap with sub-micron capture efficiencies of 95-97%, validated in independent pilot testing at SINTEF Tiller, where aerosol carryover dropped from 83-98 ppm to 2.3-3.4 ppm.
