Knowledge Developed In Denmark Is Helping Shape Responsible AI In Europe 🤖
How can AI be rolled out responsibly and sustainably across Europe?
Part of the answer is being developed in Denmark.
AarhusAI, a platform developed by ITK Aarhus Kommune is working with generative AI in the public sector, has become a key building block in a major European initiative focused on responsible and sustainable AI.
The initiative brings together partners across Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with a total budget of DKK 100 million. Half of the funding comes from the European Commission, while the Danish contribution is supported by the government's AI Task Force and the Danish Agency for Digital Government's Digital Europe fund.
The Danish partners include City of Aarhus, OS2 – Offentligt Digitaliseringsfællesskab, Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, Danish Agency for Digital Government and KL.
The story is a reminder that innovation often starts locally. Solutions developed to solve everyday challenges can go on to help shape how new technologies are adopted across Europe 🌍
