TechBBQ's Investor Day put Copenhagen's innovation momentum in the spotlight 🛸 As TechBBQ returns on 26 and 27 August, Copenhagen is once again bringing together startups, investors, researchers and industry to connect research, talent and capital. But the momentum starts a day earlier. On 25 August, Investor Day will welcome international investors to Innovation District Copenhagen, home to more than 500 research based companies and some of Denmark's strongest environments in AI, quantum technology and life science. The Investor Day and TechBBQ are both built around exactly that idea: creating connections that help promising research find the expertise, networks and capital needed to create impact 🤝 The timing is no coincidence. Annemarie Munk Riis, CEO of Innovation District Copenhagen, states: "Over the past few years, some of the strongest investment cases in Denmark have come from partners in Innovation District Copenhagen." That is encouraging news for anyone working to translate research into real world solutions. After all, great ideas need more than promising results. They need the right people, partnerships and investment to grow. 🌱 As David Dreyer Lassen, Rector of Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, puts it: "The ambition is to bring research, companies and capital closer together so that new solutions can be scaled faster." Not a bad way to kick off the TechBBQ week if we may say so ourselves... Interested in connecting research, entrepreneurship and investment? Join the conversation at Investor Day and TechBBQ and connect with the people behind tomorrow's breakthroughs. More info in the comments.
