We are pleased to share a new joint publication from our network, recently published as a chapter in the Handbook of AI in Wireless Networks: Foundations, Techniques, and Emerging Applications (CRC Press, July 2026). The chapter, titled "AI for Advanced Wireless Security and Privacy Systems," explores how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are addressing the unique vulnerabilities introduced by 5G and emerging 6G networks. Key highlights from the chapter: Analysis of how methods like Federated Learning (FL), Deep Learning (DL), and Edge Intelligence can enhance detection mechanisms and preserve privacy. Real-world applications across smart environments, healthcare, automobility, and intelligent network management. Discussion on the current obstacles and the need for reliable, resilient, and ethical AI systems to pave the way for 6G.
