100 patients have benefited from 3D-Skull since January.
A cranial defect, whether from trauma, a tumor, or a decompressive craniectomy, never has the same shape twice. Based on the patient's CT scan, a patient-specific mold is designed in advance to shape a PMMA cranial implant directly in the operating room, matching the exact shape of the defect to be filled.
One hundred patients since January. One hundred different anatomies. One hundred implants that will only ever be used once.
Thank you to the surgeons who trust us with each of these cases.
