In total knee arthroplasty, personalization does not stop at implant selection. It goes further than most people assume.
In this planning, the varus/valgus angle of the distal resection or the internal rotation of the femoral component, for example, are set to the degree and the millimeter for that specific patient, before the surgeon even enters the OR.
That is where part of the differentiation between manufacturers plays out: not only in implant geometry, but in the precision of the plan that comes with it.
That is precisely what 3D-Side builds: a planning platform shaped around the manufacturer's implant portfolio and surgical philosophy, paired with patient-specific guides that carry that plan into the operating room. That same precision doesn't stop on screen. It carries through to manufacturing: fast, accurate and safe, in Belgium as well as in the United States.
