Nathan Allman died unexpectedly at 32. Nobody plans for that. And that is exactly the point. Succession planning is not a conversation about death. It is a conversation about what your company, your assets, and the people who depend on you need to be able to access when you cannot provide access yourself. The lawsuit asks a Delaware court to determine who lawfully controls the tokenization firm and preserve the status quo. A court that has no mechanism to compel a blockchain to do anything. A legal system interpreting governance documents written before distributed ledgers, tokenised assets, and on-chain voting rights existed. Kathleen Allman was appointed personal representative of his estate by a Hawaii court in late June. Two months after her son died. Two months of governance limbo at a company at the centre of the RWA market. This is not an edge case. This is what happens by default when digital infrastructure is built without succession infrastructure above it. The founders building in web3 and RWA right now are young. The companies they are building are not. The assets they are managing are real. The governance structures they are creating need to survive them. Inheriti Business exists for this reason.
