Cryptographic risk is becoming a continuously changing operational condition.
That changes the architectural requirement.
Organizations cannot build their strategy around correctly predicting the date of one quantum breakthrough.
They need the ability to:
• discover where cryptography exists
• understand what depends on it
• detect when security assumptions change
• replace, rotate or isolate vulnerable components
• maintain trust while the underlying cryptographic environment evolves
This is why crypto-agility and cryptographic visibility are becoming architectural capabilities rather than migration projects.
The objective is not simply to survive “Q-Day.”
It is to remain secure while the threat landscape changes around you.
