🌊 𝗦𝘂𝗻, 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗲. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱. I came back from a few days at the Belgian seaside—enjoying the sun, sand and sea, and wandering through some of the art shops along the coast. Then, somehow, I found myself back in front of the keyboard. 😄 But this time for something particularly enjoyable: implementing feature requests coming from the communities around: 👉 https://lnkd.in/ejpZ7ypv 👉 https://lnkd.in/ea-c7gGU And that was probably the highlight of my weekend from a work perspective. Seeing people use what we're building at Datalayer, ask for features, open issues, contribute ideas and push the projects in directions we hadn't necessarily anticipated is incredibly rewarding. It tells me that the work is resonating. But it also rings another bell: having an active community is a privilege, not something to take for granted. We need to listen to it, respond to it, support it—and probably care for it even more as it grows. And after the coding? A quality open-air theatre performance on Sunday evening, with wonderful weather. A pretty perfect way to close the weekend. 🌊 A bit of sea. 💻 A bit of open source. 🤝 A lot of community. 🎭 And some theatre.
