Most companies are asking the wrong AI question.
They ask:
Where can we add AI to what we already do?
That question protects the company of yesterday.
The harder question is:
If we founded this company today — knowing what AI agents can research,
decide, coordinate, build and operate — what would we create?
Not another layer of tools.
Not a chatbot beside 37 inherited processes.
An AI-native version of the operating world: the Agentic Twin.
The existing company still matters. Its customers, knowledge, relationships,
assets and scars are the evidence. But its org chart and workflows are not
sacred.
The Twin is built beside the operating company. It lets leaders compare,
learn and move value deliberately—without gambling the business on one
all-at-once transformation.
I spent years building autonomous robots. The lesson was not that autonomy
removes people. It was that autonomy only works when sensing, judgment, action,
feedback and human command form one system.
