From the moment I exist, Iโm counting down every second.
[ยนโธF]: 110 min. [โถโธGa]: 68 min. [ยฒยนยนAt]: 7.2h. Every half-life that passes, half the remaining activity is gone. An issue during production, a delay in quality control or delivery, the clock doesnโt wait.
You cannot solve this problem by just producing more. It constrains the entire supply chain designed for reliability and performance in every step.
Constraints are not equal depending on the radioisotopes. Centralized regional production networks, transcontinental delivery, in-house cyclotrons, different production processes. So many different infrastructures for many different radioisotopes.
A dose that doesnโt reach the patient on time is a lost dose and an appointment cancelled without the disease being diagnosed.
