Your next productivity improvement may not require another tool.
It may simply require one protected half-hour.
Microsoft reports that employees are interrupted by a meeting, email or chat roughly once every two minutes during working hours.
Try this small attention audit:
Choose one task that deserves your full concentration.
Block 30 minutes and silence notifications.
Write down anything that still interrupts you.
Then classify each interruption:
• Remove it
• Batch it
• Route it to a clearer channel
The goal is not to create the perfect productivity system. It is to discover where your organisation is unnecessarily leaking attention.
What looks like an individual focus problem is often a question of unclear channels, ownership or urgency.
Which interruption costs you the most attention during a normal working day: meetings, messages or email?
