Since 1 June 2026, Lithuanian grid operators have been able to disconnect solar, wind and storage plants above 100 kW that have not met the country's cybersecurity requirements. It is the first EU Member State where a cybersecurity shortfall on distributed generation carries a consequence at the connection point.
