By 2027, writing code by hand might be a weekend hobby. Like woodworking, or growing your own veg. Pleasant, and quietly beside the point at work.
A company never bought your keystrokes. It bought the feature that is live on Monday, the bug that never reached a customer, the call on what to build next.
Whether the code ran through a person's fingers or a machine changes nothing for anyone but the person doing the typing. Same feature, same Monday.
What stays scarce is judgment. Knowing what is worth building, catching the answer that looks right and is not, deciding when it is good enough to ship. That is the part still worth paying a premium for.
