Our CEO, Adam Popat, spoke with Melissa Hancock at Fortune on how the UAE is building a tokenization market that can host global issuance. Adam sees a market where regulation, capital, and operating capability have created the regulatory depth that now permits the recent developments in Abu Dhabi.
"Coinbase locating its international tokenization hub in ADGM is the kind of license that turns tokenized securities from a pilot into a market," Adam told Fortune. In his view, that is the point when Abu Dhabi can issue tokenized funds, bonds, and equities into international allocation at market scale.
