Two new major features in Financica this week, that most accounting solutions will charge you thousands of euros for (we won't!).
Transaction labels, and analytical accounting.
As with every new feature, we think UX-first: How to make the software a powerful accounting solution, without the kitchen-sink-complexity of standard accounting software. In other words: How do we make accounting more accessible?
For analytical accounting, a feature essential for companies doing project-based budgeting, the answer comes in the form of labels. Add any number of labels to any transaction, and you'll be able to filter *all* reports across the app by label accordingly.
Invoice checks: Errors, warnings and notices.
We've added over 100+ checks on both inbound and outbound invoices, to help reduce fraud, mistakes, and hidden compliance issues. These checks surface whenever an invoice arrives in the inbox, or is prepared in Financica. The most critical ones will outright prevent you from sending an invalid invoice.
We check a lot. ILM companies will charge you thousands per month for this - we include all the important ones as part of our Core plan. Examples:
- Company number/name mismatches
- Supplier/receiver due diligence (eg. Are you invoicing a company undergoing bankruptcy procedure?)
- Deductibility discrepancies
- E-invoice validity errors (VAT percentage mismatches, missing fields...)
- And much, much more. All of it only visible when you need it.
