The Clinicians That Code directory just grew from 36 to 45 verified clinician-builders. The nine new entries show how wide this movement has become. A US anaesthesiologist shipping HRV apps solo on the App Store, 26 years into practice. A plastic surgeon in Bogota whose peer-reviewed surgical training platform was, in the journal's own words, "developed entirely by a practicing plastic surgeon without an engineering team". A Hungarian dentist publishing his dental charting editor on npm, where other developers now contribute to it. An emergency physician in South Korea releasing the full analysis pipeline behind a nationwide study. An ER nurse in France who retrained as a full-stack developer to build the medication app her colleagues needed. Eight countries. Doctors, dentists, nurses, physician assistants. Every entry clears the same bar: clinically trained AND personally ships software. Verified against primary sources; medical registries, ORCID records, app store developer names, first-person build claims. Founders who assembled a team of engineers do not make the cut, however impressive the product. The interesting shift: most of these builds are AI-assisted.
