It was co-founded and led as Managing Director by Karen Boers and operates from Brussels.

The organisation became a founding member of the European Startup Network, which grew into a 24-country network with over 25,000 startups within 18 months. It also ran an annual event at The Egg that became the precursor to SuperNova, one of Belgium's flagship tech events.
