
Danae Delbeke
Danaë Delbeke is a Ghent-based deep tech entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Indigo Diabetes, and a serial company builder with roots in Ghent University and imec.
Danaë Delbeke is listed by Omar Mohout among the most connected women in the Ghent tech ecosystem, alongside Annie Vereecken, Greet Vandewalle, Sophie Manigart, Isabelle Tennstedt, and Hilde Windels.
She holds a PhD in Applied Sciences from Ghent University. As a Business Development Manager at Ghent University she founded four high-tech companies: Luceda, Caliopa, Com&Sens, and Indigo. Indigo, founded in 2016 as a spin-off of Ghent University and imec, uses nanophotonics to develop a continuous multi-metabolite monitoring system for people with chronic conditions. She was recognised among the 100 most prominent women in Belgian media.
