Thierry Geerts served as Country Director of Google Belgium and Luxembourg for 12 years, during which he authored "Digitalis: How to Reinvent the World," and now leads BECI as CEO.
Thierry Geerts is a Solvay Business Engineer (VUB, 1989) who served as Country Director of Google Belgium and Luxembourg for 12 years, stepping down in 2024. During his tenure he was instrumental in helping Belgian businesses increase their online presence. He authored the book "Digitalis: How to Reinvent the World." He now leads BECI (Brussels Enterprise Commerce Initiative) as CEO and is an active voice on Digital Transformation. He is also a research associate at MOBI (Mobility, Logistics and Automotive Technology) at VUB.
