Overview

- Hamburg put on a strage moon last night as we had the honour of pitching Aortex at the Haspa | Hamburger Sparkasse Investor Circle. 🌇 The #Deutschlandhaus was a wonderful setting for it. Meeting familiar faces and new startups, talking with investors, hearing questions we had not been asked before, and taking in that incredible Hamburg skyline from the rooftop terrace made the whole evening a pleasure. 🙏 A big thank you to Haspa Hamburg and to Impossible Founders for organising the event. 🚀 And it was exciting to listen to
- Aortex - The Final Cut. Starring Maximilian Dunker and Henry Stehle Last week we wrapped the final shoot for our Aortex video, and it turned out to be a great day. And even the Hamburg weather did not let us down! 🔬 We filmed part of it where our daily work happens, at the Start-Up Labs Hamburg, and the rest out in #HafenCity, because if you build a company in Hamburg, the city deserves to be in the picture. 📍 A small piece of #advice for everyone who needs that typical Hamburg footage one day: filming commercially at the
- Quiet week from us. We are heads down, and to be honest, LinkedIn is not our core business. ⚖️ One thing worth sharing: we joined the DPMA roadshow by Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt (DPMA) in the Handelskammer Hamburg and had genuinely useful conversations about patents and IP rights. Henry Stehle had the pleasure of joining the second panel and sharing the startup perspective on the value of patents, both positive (a well written patent is worth a lot) and negative (it takes far too long to be granted). 💡 For a young MedTech
- We were part of the 3rd #Zebra Investment Night by Impact Hub Hamburg yesterday, and it genuinely moved us. 🙏 Henry's and Maximilian's biggest #THANK #YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, goes to the investors who decided to support Aortex. The smiles from that evening will stick around for a while. This is only the beginning of a long journey, but if it starts like this, we can only imagine what is ahead. 💖 Thank you as well to Jessica Thees & Dr. Birte Prinzhorn for the great organization, Victor Büchner for the amazing
- This week I'm at TechBBQ in #Copenhagen, and the ecosystem here feels genuinely young and active. 🤝 What I like is the mix: familiar faces you see far too rarely in person, plus a lot of new ones that are now firmly on my radar. Maybe the one last investor for Aortex ;). 🚲 Beyond the conference programme, a bit of sightseeing is a must. And the longer I walk and cycle through this city, the more I hope #Hamburg's urban planners have taken a proper look at Copenhagen. Bike infrastructure, waterfront, quality of public space: a
- Running together with Life Science Nord to strengthen our cardiovascular system! 🫀 Last week, our Aortex team (Henry Stehle & Maximilian Dunker) joined the Life Science Nord crew at the #RUN5 and crossed the finish line together. Swapping labs and meeting rooms for a few kilometres along the course is a good reminder of how close knit the life science community here in the north really is. Thanks to Julius Welsch & Lennart Cordes for bringing the team together, and to everyone who ran, cheered or simply showed up. We
- Aortex recently sat down with Startup City Hamburg for an interview that covered pretty much everything at once: What we do, why #Hamburg is the right place to build it with the Impossible Founders, IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH and Start-Up Labs Hamburg, how innovation in #medtech works and how Maximilian Dunker and Henry Stehle work together. 🙏 Thank you Jacqueline Heemann and the whole team at Startup City Hamburg for the great opportunity and work. 🔗 Full video in the first comment. #MedTech #Aortex #StartupCityHamburg
