Atumind

Overview

Atumind was incorporated on 9 July 2025 in Lichtervelde, West Flanders, by Christophe Sabbe and Thijs Maenhout, building on more than fifteen years of industrial automation experience at parent company Atree. Sabbe serves as CEO and continues to lead Atree, while Maenhout joined as COO after running his own freelance industrial-software practice focused on MES, MOM, WMS, SCADA, and OEE. The company positions its product as a single web-based platform that brings production execution, warehouse management, and advanced planning together for SMEs and larger manufacturers, replacing fragmented tooling stitched on top of ERP, SCADA, and PLC systems.

The product is delivered as a modular MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) suite. Customers adopt MES, WMS/WCS, or APS modules independently and can layer in visual dashboards, digital twins, low-code flow management, and energy consumption analysis. The APS module uses AI & Machine Learning-based scheduling that takes capacity and priorities as inputs, where Atumind argues most plants today still rely on the tacit knowledge of a few experienced planners. The platform was publicly launched at the ABISS 2025 industrial Digital Transformation fair in the Benelux in November 2025, and early reference customers come from the food and agro-industrial sector, including Sugo Food, Via Frites, Udapa Cooperativa, and De Aardappelhoeve.

Atumind operates alongside Atree, which continues to handle systems integration and on-site automation, while Atumind focuses on the proprietary software platform layer. The company sits in the broader Flemish industrial software cluster that also includes Apicbase and other manufacturing-focused SaaS vendors.
