Colibry

Overview

Colibry was co-founded in 2015 by Wendy Geeraert alongside Anna Praet and Frederic Geeraert, and is based in Gentbrugge, in the greater Ghent area. The platform serves two audiences: homebuyers looking for active, guided property search, and real estate agencies seeking to modernize their lead follow-up, valuation flows, and customer journeys using data-driven tools.

The platform provides an advanced property search engine that allows users to specify preferences on home type, financing, and location. It also links to mortgage calculators, notary services, and service providers including contractors and energy suppliers.

For agencies, Colibry designs AI-driven marketing and sales automations built on top of existing website and CRM data. This positions the company at the intersection of proptech and applied AI for the Belgian real estate market.

Colibry has participated in the Start it @KBC accelerator, and KBC linked its financial offering to the platform as a partnership. Lorenz Bogaert has publicly highlighted Wendy Geeraert's work at Colibry, suggesting an investment or advisory relationship between Colibry and the StarApps network.
