Overview
Customaite builds software that turns trade documents into customs declarations. The platform reads invoices, packing lists and transport documents, extracts and structures the data, validates and enriches it, and exports a declaration proposal into the software a customs team already uses, with a declarant reviewing and validating every file. It connects to Stream Software, Descartes eCustoms, Descartes ThymeIT, ASM Sequoia, Cargowise and Dakozy, and is sold as Customaite Lite, Pro and Enterprise. The work began in 2020 among IT consultants whose projects had stopped, and the first customer went live in Antwerp in October 2021 under the name adore4customs, supporting Transit NCTS-4 declarations. Import and export declarations followed in August 2022. Adore4Customs was the product business unit of the Leuven IT consultancy AE and took the name Customaite in March 2023. The company received its ISO 27001:2022 certificate on 17 July 2024 with zero non-conformities. During 2024 the volume of declarations processed grew fivefold, the platform shipped 50 releases, and it supported customs teams in 12 European countries. Customers include H.Essers, DB Schenker, Derry Bros, EORI (UK), Gaston Schul, Manuport Logistics and Mainfreight. In December 2025 Customaite added a product data management interface for customs master data. Christoph Neut is chief executive officer. Customaite NV was registered as a separate Belgian company on 17 June 2026, with its seat at Interleuvenlaan 74 in Heverlee, Leuven.
