Overview
EightySeven is a community of innovators for the built world that connects real estate and construction companies with PropTech, ConTech, Mobility and EnergyTech solution providers. The organisation was founded in 2017 as PropTech Lab and later rebranded to EightySeven, a name that refers to the 87% of their lives people on average spend indoors in human-made spaces. It is headquartered at Avenue Louise 350 in Ixelles, Brussels, and has 2-10 employees. Members fall into two groups. Seekers are real estate developers, asset managers, general contractors, architects, property managers, facility managers, REITs, owners and real estate investors. Providers are PropTech, ConTech, EnergyTech, mobility and other solution providers serving the built world. The community is active in Belgium, Luxembourg, Czechia, Portugal and Spain. The 2026 edition takes place on 16 September 2026 at Proximus Net Center in Brussels, with 800+ attendees expected and SFPIM and Astrea among the sponsors. As PropTech Lab, the organisation announced it was in the final phase of a €600K funding round to grow from 300 to 3,000 members. Idriss Goossens is Founder & CEO. He moderated an EightySeven panel at Futurebuild Belgium on 27 January 2026 and led a panel at Realty 2025 at Brussels Expo. The team also includes Prekshit Suthar, Ishan Raychaudhuri, Sara Aniny, Goncalo Bradford and Van Ho.
