- 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀. Every project has its own planting window, set by the local climate. We plant when rainfall and temperature give young trees the best chance to get established before a dry or cold period sets in. These windows are a guide, not a fixed schedule. When the rains come late or stop early, the season shifts or gets shorter. Our local technical partners keep a close eye on conditions and decide when the time is right. And planting is only one part of the story.
- 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. For us, planting trees has always been about more than trees. It’s about people. One of our biggest drivers is the positive impact we can create for local communities. Because restoring nature and improving people’s lives should go hand in hand. Our agroforestry project in Madagascar, together with our local partner Bôndy, is a great example of what this looks like in practice. By combining trees with crops on farmers’ land, we help create more diverse and resilient ecosystems while opening up
- 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮. What if planting a tree could do more than capture CO₂? What if it could also restore biodiversity, improve access to nutritious food and create new opportunities for local communities?
