- For years, we called it a face scan. That name got too small. 🚀 What started in 2021 as a 30-second scan in a smartphone app now runs wherever a camera sees a face: in video consults, on health kiosks, in smart glasses and on care robots. Same science underneath. It reads the tiny colour changes each heartbeat causes in the skin and returns six scientifically validated biomarkers, including heart rate, HRV, breathing and blood pressure. No cuff, no wearable, no extra hardware. So we gave it the name it earned: Health sensing
- Meet Quim Comas Martinez, our newest Computer Vision Engineer 👋 Every now and then, you hire someone and think: we've just brought in one of the top 1% in their field! Quim feels like one of those hires. Quim has spent years on groundbreaking research in remote photoplethysmography (rPPG): using deep learning to extract physiological signals from facial video.
