- This image probably explained the problem better than some of my slides. A big fatty sturdy secure lock with a toy key. I recently used it at the European Space Agency - ESA Industry Day to talk about post-quantum security with a very diverse audience. What surprised me was that many people were already aware of quantum computing and had heard about the need for post-quantum cryptography. But far fewer had really connected that discussion to the implications for their own technology and infrastructure. The image makes one part of
- Let’s meet at ESA ISD 2026! Our team members Alessandro Brunetti and Aymen ZAYED are attending ESA Industry Space Days, connecting with partners, innovators, and industry leaders from across the European space ecosystem. If you’re attending too, we’d be happy to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations. 📍 ESA ISD 2026. 🤝 Let’s meet and talk space, technology, and future opportunities. #ESA #ISD2026ESA #IndustrySpaceDays #SpaceTech #Innovation #Networking #Collaboration #SpaceIndustry
- RSA-260 has just been solved. Not by a quantum computer yet, but it is another reminder that cryptographic assumptions do not last forever. At iQrypto, we believe the time to prepare for the post-quantum transition is before Q-Day, not after. The real question is: do you want your organisation to be the next headline or do you want to act before you become one? - RSA-260 just fell. A 260-digit, 862-bit RSA challenge that had stood unfactored for 35 years has now been solved setting a new general-purpose factoring record. This wasn’t a quantum attack but it’s another reminder that cryptographic assumptions don’t last forever. Q-Day isn’t here yet. The time to prepare for it is. - I would like to thank Alexandra PAUL from Pasqal for having invited me to represent iQrypto to share perspectives on Policy recommendations. The exchanges with the panels were interesting and opening wide with a clear convergence and common vision for Europe to strengthen its Quantum capabilities and ecosystem.
- The new QRNG USB key is taking shape. ⚛️🔐 A little behind-the-scenes look at the making of our QRNG USB key starting with the 3D printing of the enclosure. There’s something satisfying about seeing a digital design slowly become a physical product, layer by layer. The electronics and quantum randomness may be the heart of the device, but bringing the whole product together also means getting every physical detail right. From prototype to product. More soon. 🚀 Aymen ZAYED Giuseppe Schiano Lo Moriello Soheil Nazari Alessandro
- This one is really personal for me. Six years ago, during COVID, I had some money saved and one decision to make: Do I buy a new car, or do I spend that money on a patent for an idea that, at that moment, existed ony in my head? I chose the patent. So I kept my old Nissan Qashqai. 😄 The idea was to generate physical randomness from dark-current shot noise using standard CMOS technology, without photons or special processes. At the beginning, some people thought it was crazy. And many times during these six years, I also asked
- Patent Granted: Random Number Generator We’re pleased to share that iQrypto has been granted a Korean patent for our Random Number Generator technology. Secure random number generation is a fundamental building block of modern cryptography. Cryptographic keys, authentication, digital signatures, and many other security functions ultimately depend on access to high-quality, unpredictable randomness. The importance of physical random number generation is already visible in commercial products such as the Samsung Galaxy Quantum
